The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former two time world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
